Full-Time Service Designer with GoA

Work with the Government of Alberta as a Service Designer to innovate service delivery through human-centered design and digital transformation efforts. Enhance citizen services through key design principles. The Government of Alberta is looking for up to seventeen Service Designers in its Digital Design and Delivery Division. This role emphasizes agile methodologies and collaboration with various ministries to revamp service processes. You will engage in research, prototyping, and evaluation activities to ensure that services remain efficient and accessible. Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate user research and gather insights
• Design service prototypes and test concepts
• Collaborate on service blueprint and journey map development
• Analyze project outcomes and user experiences
• Report on service performance and effectiveness

Requirements:

• Previous experience in service design or digital delivery
• Understanding of human-centered design principles
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Knowledge of agile frameworks and design thinking
