Rogers is hiring a Cloud Ops Engineer. Salary: $89,908 per year. Employment type: Full time. Location: 1 Mount Pleasant (083), Toronto, ON, Canada.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure AWS environments.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code Terraform templates to automate provisioning and management.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to deploy software.
• Collaborate with development teams to deploy and manage applications in the cloud and on-premises.
• Implement and maintain AWS infrastructure security practices, including IAM policies, VPC configurations, and security groups.
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and conduct root cause analysis to ensure reliability and availability of services.
• Monitor and optimize AWS usage to manage and reduce costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in CloudOps, DevOps, or a related role.
• Proven experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Step Functions, and Lambda.
• Solid understanding of advanced networking concepts and use of AWS Direct Connect.
• Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• Experience configuring and managing Nginx web servers.
• Robust problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure is preferred.
• Certified Solutions Architect (preferred).
