Nanny Wanted - Part Time Nanny / Family Assistant (25 Hours/Week)

Langford / Westshore, BC | Starting September 2026 Schedule: Approximately 25 hours/week (Monday–Friday, mornings to early afternoons preferred) Compensation: $25–$35/hour (depending on experience and fit) Start Date: September 2026 Commitment: We are ideally seeking someone interested in a long-term role (2-3 years) with our family We are a warm, busy family in the Westshore area preparing to welcome our second baby in August and are looking for a kind, reliable, and proactive nanny/family assistant to support our household starting in September. We are seeking someone who genuinely loves babies and young children, enjoys creating calm and supportive home environments, and feels comfortable helping with both childcare and light household support. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being a meaningful support person to a growing family during an important season of life.

ABOUT OUR FAMILY

Mom and dad work from home, with flexible but demanding schedules. We have a sweet, spirited daughter (age 3.5) who attends daycare during weekdays Baby boy arrives in August 2026 We already have wonderful support in place, including housekeeping, meal support, and nearby family, so this role is about helping create additional ease, steadiness, and support in our day-to-day rhythm.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Newborn / Infant Support Holding, soothing, feeding support, rocking, walks Caring for baby while mom works, rests, showers, or naps Supporting naps and daily routines Helping create a calm, nurturing environment for baby Occasional Support with Older Child Light support with our daughter when needed (play, transitions, etc.) Household Support Laundry and folding Light tidying / toy reset Kitchen reset / dishes Bottle washing / baby gear organization Light meal prep (bonus) Helping keep household systems flowing smoothly Ideal Candidate We’re looking for someone who is: Warm, calm, nurturing, and emotionally mature Experienced with newborns and infants Naturally proactive and helpful Organized and tidy Trustworthy and dependable Comfortable working collaboratively in a busy household Confident taking initiative without needing constant direction Bonus if you have: Postpartum/newborn experience Doula background Early childhood experience Previous nanny family assistant experience

SCHEDULE

We are ideally looking for approximately 25 hours/week, primarily during weekday mornings to early afternoons. Example schedule: Monday–Friday

8:30 AM – 1:30 PM

We are somewhat flexible and care much more about finding the right fit than forcing a rigid schedule.

COMPENSATION AND STRUCTURE:

$25–$35/hour depending on experience and fit Guaranteed approximately 25 hours/week
