We are a family in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, seeking an experienced, compassionate elder care provider for casual, live-out home care. My father has advanced Parkinson's disease and requires a high level of assistance with daily activities. We’re looking for someone who can provide both personal care and nursing care. We have a primary care provider in place, but looking for an individual to fill a few gaps in the care schedule, including weekends. Key responsibilities include administering medication, bathing, and offering respite services to ensure our family member feels comfortable and supported. We value patience and understanding, as well as the ability to manage various tasks related to elder care and the complex aspects of neurodegerative disease.
