Communications Information Management Student

Kickstart your career with CATSA as a Communications Information Management Student in Ottawa. As part of the Finance, Governance and Strategic Services branch, this position is available from October 2026 to December 31, 2026, requiring 22.5 hours per week. You will support file organization and metadata application, collaborate with the Information Management team, and enhance the Communications shared folder system. Key Responsibilities:

• Organize files and update naming conventions
• Collaborate on content cleanup and records management
• Conduct research and prepare various documents
• Provide administrative support for projects
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Enrollment in a relevant college or university program
• Experience with document and records management
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and SharePoint
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
• Familiarity with generative AI tools is an asset
