What you'll doDeliver exceptional customer service that creates positive experiences for residents, businesses, and internal stakeholders.Ensure payments and financial transactions are processed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures.Safeguard the integrity of City financial records through accurate cash handling, balancing, and reconciliation practices.Support the City's revenue collection processes by managing a high volume of transactions with speed and precision.Provide timely and professional responses to customer inquiries, helping customers access City services, programs, and products.Contribute to the smooth flow of daily operations through effective organization, attention to detail, and accountability.Build trust and confidence in City services through professional interactions and consistent service excellence. Qualifications Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.Minimum one (1) year of experience working with the public in a customer service environment.Minimum one (1) year of experience balancing receipts, handling payments, operating computerized systems, and performing cashier or point-of-sale functions.Formal customer service training is considered an asset.Ability to accurately type a minimum of 8,000 numeric keystrokes per hour.An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
