Role Overview As an exclusive Financial Advisor of Co‑operators, you are an entrepreneurial‑minded leader and high‑achieving business builder who will manage your own insurance agency with the full support of an established company. You will build strong community ties, cultivate long‑term client relationships, and use our exclusive technology, tools, and processes to help Canadians meet their financial security needs.
Responsibilities Acquire comprehensive knowledge of clients’ financial situations to create goal‑based investment and financial plans.
Advise clients on estate planning in collaboration with internal and external resources.
Provide quotes, upsell and cross‑sell products, and conduct front‑line risk assessment in accordance with underwriting guidelines.
Cultivate, develop, and maintain community relationships to enhance branch visibility and maximize new business opportunities.
Engage directly with clients and/or service providers in their environment.
Qualifications Life insurance licence with the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF).
1 to 2 years of experience in life insurance sales and business development.
In‑depth knowledge of life and wealth insurance products.
Strong underwriting skills (asset).
College or university degree in a related field (asset).
Proficiency in both English and French essential for primary duties.
Essential non‑French duties are not assignable to adjacent or other team members.

Use strong communication skills to influence or persuade others and facilitate mutually beneficial solutions.

Manage own taxes and can deduct business expenses.
Provide support to clients experiencing a personal or financial loss with high confidentiality and discretion.
