As the primary onsite representative for port logistics operations, you will ensure safe, efficient, and compliant vessel discharge, inventory management, component preservation, transportation coordination, and contractor performance.
This position plays a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction while supporting renewable energy projects throughout North America.
WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Verify the safe handling and movement of wind turbine components including blades, towers, nacelles, hubs, drivetrains, and auxiliary equipment.
- Ensure components are discharged, stored, preserved, and released in accordance with project requirements and company procedures.
- Oversee storage yard operations, inventory management, and component tracking activities.
- Conduct daily safety meetings and field inspections while promoting a zero-incident safety culture.
- Ensure compliance with company, customer, environmental, port authority, and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate incidents and support implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
- Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for logistics operations and stakeholder communications.
- Provide operational updates, identify risks, and support mitigation and recovery planning.
- Support transportation loading activities and cargo release coordination.
- Inspect cargo condition and document damage, shortages, and non-conformances.
- Maintain daily reports, inventory records, inspection documentation, and turnover packages.
- Supervise contractors and service providers performing port and storage yard activities.
- Monitor contractor performance related to safety, quality, productivity, and operational expectations.
- Assist with operational planning, resource allocation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
WHAT YOU HAVE

- Experience supervising contractors and third-party service providers.
- Strong knowledge of vessel discharge operations and heavy-lift cargo handling.
- Understanding of inventory control, warehouse operations, and component preservation practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management systems.
- Valid driver's license and ability to maintain an acceptable driving record.
- Valid passport or ability to obtain one.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout Canada and the United States as required.
- Ability to work in active marine terminals, industrial facilities, laydown yards, and construction environments.
- Ability to meet site-specific fitness-for-duty and access requirements.
- Experience supporting utility-scale wind energy projects.
- Wind energy and turbine logistics experience strongly preferred.
- Experience managing HSE and quality programs within logistics operations.
- Experience supporting large-scale industrial construction projects.
- Bilingual (English/French) skills are considered an asset.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis.
