Cabinetry Product Innovation Specialist

Cabico’s Product Specialist advances custom cabinetry through supplier collaboration, prototype development, and technical product innovation in Coaticook, Quebec.This position contributes to the development, improvement, and commercialization of Cabico’s product portfolio. Working across Product Managers, Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customer Support, the specialist evaluates ideas, supports new product introductions, and helps ensure technical feasibility. The role suits someone with industrial or mechanical engineering training, an industrial design degree, or five to ten years in custom cabinetry, woodworking, or furniture. French and English bilingualism, analytical thinking, and organized execution are required.Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate to identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliersParticipate in Product Development Committee activitiesSupport prototypes, work instructions, and production trainingEstimate and optimize costs for new productsFollow project plans on time and in-fullRequirements:
Industrial or mechanical engineering diploma, or industrial design degreeFive to ten years’ custom cabinetry, woodworking, or furniture experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to build cross-functional collaborative relationshipsComfort presenting ideas and concepts to groupsBring supplier coordination, prototype support, and product commercialization expertise to Cabico’s premium custom cabinetry portfolio.
