Position Overview

The Production Bouquet Wrapper is responsible for wrapping bouquets efficiently and to company standards in a fast-paced floral warehouse environment. This role ensures that all bouquets are attractively and securely wrapped, maintaining the quality and presentation expected by the company and its customers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well under pressure, and is proactive in preparing and organizing wrapping materials for a continuous workflow.

Key Responsibilities

Bouquet Wrapping

• Wrap bouquets quickly and efficiently, ensuring each bouquet meets the company's quality and presentation standards.
• Use appropriate wrapping materials and techniques to secure and protect floral arrangements during handling and transport.
• Inspect bouquets for quality and appearance before and after wrapping, making adjustments as needed to maintain high standards.

Preparation and Organization

• Prepare and organize wrapping sheets and materials in advance for upcoming production cycles.
• Monitor inventory of wrapping supplies and notify the manager when materials need to be replenished.
• Maintain a clean and organized wrapping station to ensure efficient workflow and product quality.

Quality Control

• Ensure all wrapped bouquets are consistent in appearance and meet customer specifications.
• Report any issues with bouquet quality or wrapping materials to the Production Designer promptly.
• Take pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail in every bouquet wrapped.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with production, design, and cooler teams to ensure smooth and timely order fulfillment.
• Assist with other production tasks as needed, especially during peak periods.

Safety Responsibilities

• Follow all safety protocols when using wrapping tools and materials.
• Keep the work area free of hazards and report any safety concerns immediately.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, and use hands for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
• Capable of handling repetitive tasks with consistent quality and attention to detail.

Work Schedules

• Sunday: 8:00AM to 4:30PM / 10:00AM to 6:30PM
• Monday-Friday: 6:00AM to 2:30PM / 7:00AM to 3:30PM / 8:00AM to 4:30PM

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining product quality.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in floral production or wrapping is an asset but not required.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage materials and workflow.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, SeasonalContract length: 3 months

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
