Corporate Legal Counsel - Syntax (Saint-Laurent)

• Reporting into Global Head of Legal, will join a global team of commercial lawyers

Customer Contract

• Review and negotiate Master Services Agreements and Statements of Work using templates and customer forms
• Negotiate data privacy agreements/data processing agreements
• Lead negotiations with customer’s legal and sales team

Strategic Partnership

• Draft and negotiate recent partnership and referral agreements
• Support renewals and ongoing partner matters (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, Oracle, CrowdStrike)
• Identify and manage legal risks related to reseller and third‑party arrangements

Products Developed In‑house

• Develop contract templates for internally created products
• Ensure appropriate protections (e.g., IP, acceptable use, customer rights) are reflected in customer agreements
• Standardize terms and language across platforms and offerings
• Maintain and update templates, including integrating those from acquisitions

Misc. Legal Support

• Provide general legal support across various business units, including reviewing and negotiating vendor agreements, working on customer termination files, advising on risk, and assisting with a broad range of commercial and operational matters
