Paid by Employer Position Summary StayCare Alberta Homecare Services is seeking a reliable, compassionate and hardworking Housekeeper to help clients maintain clean, safe and comfortable homes. The successful candidate will work independently while respecting each client’s privacy, preferences, routines and dignity. Key Responsibilities Perform general household cleaning, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping Clean and sanitize kitchens, bathrooms and commonly used surfaces Wash, dry, fold and organize laundry Change bed linens and make beds Wash dishes and maintain an organized kitchen Assist with basic meal preparation when required Empty garbage and recycling Organize household items and maintain a safe, clutter-free environment Identify and report safety concerns or changes in the client’s condition Follow infection-prevention and workplace safety procedures Maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries Complete assigned documentation accurately and on time Qualifications Must be able to communicate effectively in at least one of these languages: Urdu, Hindi or Punjabi Basic English skills are required for workplace communication and documentation Previous housekeeping or home-support experience is preferred Dependable, punctual and able to work independently Respectful and comfortable working with seniors and adults requiring assistance Strong attention to detail and time-management skills Physically able to stand, bend, lift and perform household duties Willingness to complete a Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search First Aid and CPR certification are considered assets Transportation Transportation to and from the work area is available from northeast Calgary Applicants may also use their own reliable vehicle An additional bonus will be provided to employees who use their own vehicle for work Availability Requirements The successful candidate must be available to work six days per week for approximately six to seven hours each day. The schedule may include weekdays, weekends and occasional holidays based on client needs. (Full-Time, Live-Out) Workplace:House & Apartment Cleaning Cleaning is required on day, evening (on weekend)
