Take on a crucial role as a Product Owner focusing on safety systems at WorkSafeBC in Richmond, Canada. You will lead digital initiatives enhancing organizational health and safety. As the People & Culture Product Owner, you’ll oversee the implementation of the Employee Health, Safety & Wellness system and collaborate with various business teams. Your responsibilities include project management, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring that projects meet health and safety compliance standards. This position blends strategy with practical execution to improve workplace safety. Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead EHSW and CSEM initiatives from start to finish
- Gather and analyze requirements for system implementations
- Coordinate with stakeholders and manage project milestones
- Design and implement health and safety systems with vendors
- Create training and support materials for users
- Degree in a pertinent field like IT or Health & Safety
- Minimum of 5 years in a related capacity
- Comprehensive understanding of EHSW processes
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Certification like CRSP or PMP is preferred
