ABOUT OUR FAMILY

We are a busy, close-knit family raising two wonderful boys aged 2.5 and 4.5. They're healthy, happy, and fun to be around. I run a large business, which means my travel and time away from home are often more frequent than I'd like. My wife is currently at home full-time with the boys, but we're looking to bring on additional, trusted help to support our family.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are offering a full-time salaried position for the right person — someone looking for a long-term role with our family, not just occasional or short-term work. While the position is salaried at full-time hours, the week-to-week schedule will vary based on our family's needs. Some weeks may involve fewer hours (for example, three days totaling roughly 20 hours); other weeks, especially around travel, may require more. Hours will be balanced fairly over time, and with reasonable notice, we're looking for someone flexible enough to be there when we need them most. In exchange for that flexibility and commitment, we offer excellent, competitive compensation — and for the right long-term fit, we're happy to continue rewarding that relationship well over time.

WHAT THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE

We're flexible on the details, but here is what we're initially envisioning:

• Weekday afternoon/evening coverage: Helping with the boys and/or light household support (laundry, meal prep, tidying) so both parents aren't tied down when evening activities come up.
• Occasional weekend coverage: An afternoon or evening here and there to allow for a date night.
• Overnight and multi-day coverage: Staying with the boys in the evenings and/or overnight when my wife and I are away for a few days. There will be additional help from family, but we may need extended coverage on specific days.
• Family travel support: Joining us on some vacations — we travel to wonderful destinations such as Switzerland and other parts of Europe, the Caribbean, the USA, and Japan. On these trips, you would help support us with the boys, sometimes covering a portion of the day, evening, or overnight while we're away. Other family members may also be present to help share coverage during travel.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're not overly demanding, but we are looking for someone genuinely interested in building a long-term relationship with our family. We value warmth, reliability, flexibility, and someone who our boys will love having around. Comfort with occasional travel and a willingness to adapt to a variable weekly schedule are important.

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

• Full-time salaried position, regardless of week-to-week variation in hours. Compensation is not listed because we do not want someone to work with us simply for the money. With that being said, the person we select to work with us will be paid well.
• Schedule will fluctuate weekly based on family needs, with advance notice provided where possible.
• Additional hours during travel periods will be balanced fairly across the year.
