Cenovus Energy is seeking an experienced Senior Production Engineer/Technologist to enhance the performance of approximately 50 SAGD well pairs. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who merges strong technical skills with collaborative project leadership. You’ll continually improve steam efficiency and reserve recovery, directly impacting operations and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize operations for ~50 SAGD well pairs
• Support completions designs for recent well pads
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on initiatives
• Lead projects on automation and data science improvements
• Drive safe production while minimizing SOR within constraints

Requirements

• Professional Engineering designation or Engineering Diploma
• 8+ years in oil and gas, preferably in SAGD
• Strong knowledge of artificial lift systems and SAGD
• Proficient in data manipulation and visualization
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
