Expert AI Programmer Cyberpunk 2
CD PROJEKT RED
Architect behavioral AI and open-world systems for Cyberpunk 2 at CD PROJEKT RED, with hybrid, in-office, or fully remote work options.
As an Expert AI Programmer, you will help create believable worlds through spawning, systemic gameplay, and designer-focused tools. You will work with designers and developers while mentoring related technical efforts. The position requires professional games-industry programming experience and strong C++ and Unreal Engine knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect spawning and behavioral AI systems
- Integrate bespoke content into systemic open worlds
- Monitor performance and memory usage
- Review code, proposals, and technical approaches
- Develop debug and designer tools
Requirements:
- At least seven years of games-industry programming experience
- Strong C++ and Unreal Engine proficiency
- Procedural content generation and systemic gameplay experience
- Current-generation console hardware experience
- Multithreaded systems and code optimization experience
