Join our client's Project Team as a Senior Project Planner based in Calgary, with a focus on Alberta and BC projects. Utilize your expertise in planning and scheduling to drive successful project delivery with a hybrid work model. In this pivotal role, you'll manage projects through all phases, ensuring consistent and realistic plans across various complexities. Your hands-on approach will enhance the project team's capabilities as you develop benchmarks and ensure compliance with standard tools. Collaborate with multi-national teams while leveraging your skills to improve scheduling efficiency and project outcomes, contributing to the overall value of the projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop integrated project schedules for complex projects
- Ensure compliance with planning tools and processes
- Facilitate interactive planning sessions and evaluations
- Generate comprehensive monthly schedule updates
- Review scope changes and their schedule impacts
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in project planning
- Proficient in Primavera P6, desktop and cloud
- Strong communication and people skills
- Engineering degree or equivalent in project planning
- Familiar with risk management practices
