Counsellor for Mobility Disabilities Remote Role

Become a Rehabilitation Counsellor with Ability NB, helping individuals with mobility disabilities achieve their goals in the Greater Fredericton and Upper River Valley areas. This full-time position includes the option for remote work while requiring travel for client support. In this impactful role, you will evaluate clients’ needs and goals, facilitating their independence and social participation. Your skills in person-centered planning and relationship-building are crucial for successful outcomes as you collaborate with clients and their networks. Key Responsibilities:

• Assess client needs in various environments

Requirements:

• Degree in Psychology, Sociology, or Human Services
• Proven experience in counselling
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Deep understanding of disability issues
• Valid driver’s license required for travel
