What will your typical day look like?

 

The Manager, Data Analysis Discovery & Requirements role will lead the discovery, definition, delivery, governance and adoption of data products for a key strategic initiative to establish a global data platform.

 

This role combines product ownership, business analysis, and data discovery expertise. The successful candidate will own business use cases from intake through implementation, partnering with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to translate business needs into scalable and trusted data products.

 

The ideal candidate brings strong experience analyzing enterprise source systems, defining data requirements, documenting source-to-target mappings, and driving delivery of data solutions that enable business value. Key responsibilities include:

 

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of Global Data Platform (GDP) use cases and data products from intake through implementation and business adoption
• Lead cross-functional delivery teams comprised of business stakeholders, data engineers, data modelers, and subject matter experts to successfully deliver data products
• Coordinate contributors from multiple business and technology teams to ensure alignment, accountability, and timely execution
• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and guidance to business analysts, project contributors, and subject matter experts involved in GDP initiatives
• Translate business use cases and requests into well-defined product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Develop and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), process flows, and business rules
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops with business and technology stakeholders to define business outcomes, KPIs, success metrics, requirements, dependencies, and delivery priorities.
• Collaborate with Product Manager to intake, triage, and prioritize requests across business domains and GDP roadmap
• Ensure delivered solutions align with GDP strategy, enterprise architecture standards, and business priorities
• Analyze business processes, data structures, data relationships, and system integrations to identify required data elements and authoritative sources
• Analyze complex datasets (SAP, Salesforce, Finance, etc.) to identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and transformation needs
• Develop and maintain source-to-target mapping documentation for data ingestion, transformation, and consumption
• Define transformation logic, calculation requirements, and data quality expectations
• Support design and implementation of scalable data products aligned with enterprise standards
• Support testing strategy, test case definition, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect triage
• Ensure successful deployment, adoption, and ongoing enhancement of data products
• Prepare executive-ready presentations, recommendations, and status updates for stakeholders and leadership

About the team

The Data Strategy & Governance Office (DSGO) is responsible for building an integrated strategy and operating model to effectively and consistently manage global data and AI throughout its lifecycle to more effectively serve our clients, meet business objectives and foster innovation. The team is leading initiatives to develop a data and AI strategy and establish consistent data governance, data management, and AI product development and governance practices at Deloitte Global, enabled by technology. The team reports to the Global Chief Information Officer under the Technology Strategy and Architecture portfolio.

Do you possess the following?:

 

• 6+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Business Systems Analysis, Data Analysis, Data Product Management, or related disciplines
• University degree or equivalent working experience in Business, Computer Science, or Technology
  CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSPO, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, or related certifications considered an asset
• Proven experience leading data-focused initiatives from discovery through delivery and adoption.
• Proven experience defining business and technical metrics, KPIs, and success measures for enterprise data products and analytics solutions
• Demonstrated expertise creating source-to-target mapping documentation, data lineage artifacts, and business transformation logic.
• Ability to balance strategic product thinking with detailed business analysis and delivery execution.
• Proven ability to operate within a product-driven data organization
• Experience facilitating cross-team prioritization activities to align multiple internal stakeholders and work effectively across multiple domains and subject matter experts
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills; able to communicate complex messages and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization including senior executives
• Strong understanding of data platforms, data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and analytics ecosystems such as Databricks, Snowflake, etc.
• Experience working with enterprise applications such as SAP, Salesforce, Informatica, or other operational systems

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
