BH Carriage Driving is looking to add a team member. We compete Combined Driving ponies at the FEI level and breed quality sport ponies. We currently have 3.5 employees for ten ponies at our state-of-the art facilities. Ideally you would have some FEI grooming experience which encompasses nutrition, daily management, supportive therapies, fitness and turning out to a high level. The ability to travel is an asset. If you are leaning towards the farm manager position please understand that a management position involves working shoulder-to-shoulder with the staff, having superior problem solving skills, extensive experience in the horse industry and a desire to help our facility grow. In addition to breeding and competing we also host events, competitions and clinics. Excellent customer service is offered to all of our guests and clients. A six month contract is possible but our perfect candidate would be someone who would like to have a long-term growth opportunity.
The ability to work legally in Canada is necessary. It is possible to apply for a work visa but this process often takes up to eighteen months and this position begins in September.
