Job Summary

The Scala Spark Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data processing solutions to support Liquidity MRA reporting, analytics, and data quality controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, unit test and optimize data pipelines using Scala and Apache Spark.
• Implement transformations, aggregations, and calculations required for liquidity reporting.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of large-scale data processing jobs.
• Integrate data from multiple source systems (e.g., transactional, risk, financial data).
• Apply data validation, reconciliation, and error-handling mechanisms.
• Support deployment, code reviews, and production issue resolution.
• Adhere to SDLC enterprise development standards, security, and governance policies.

Required Skills

• Scala Spark developer experience – at least 5 years
• Solid communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Banking or regulatory reporting experience in banking
• Liquidity reporting experience

Required Experience

5 to 10 years of overall experience

Shift / Schedule

Monday – Friday, core business hours; occasional overtime
