Mechanical Inspector for TC Energy Project

Join SGS as a Mechanical Inspector supporting a major TC Energy project in British Columbia. Oversee the installation and performance of turbo machinery including gas generators and turbines.

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Inspector to represent SGS for a key project in British Columbia. The ideal candidate will have a Journeyperson Millwright certification and expertise in mechanical QA/QC processes. You will monitor contractor performance, review quality plans, and ensure adherence to safety standards across installations.

Key Responsibilities: • Inspect and oversee turbo machinery installations • Review contractor quality control plans and inspection documentation • Ensure compliance with project specifications and safety requirements • Document equipment alignment and perform soft foot verification • Participate in safety meetings and field assessments

Requirements: • Journeyperson Millwright certification required • Background in Baker Hughes Gas Turbine equipment • Minimum 5 years in mechanical inspection or QA/QC • Knowledge of safety procedures in construction • High School Diploma or GED
