Credentials: Driver's License Class 1 or A
Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
Education: High School Diploma / or Equivalency
Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others.
Additional Skills: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Loading and Unloading of goods, Tarping and ensuring safety / security of cargo, Receive and relay information to central dispatcher, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment. Perform brake adjustments and Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness.

Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat. Transportation / Travel Information:
Own transportation, Valid class 1 license. Documentation Knowledge:
Logbook, Bill of Lading, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Maintenance and repair reports, Accident or incident reports. Communication Equipment Experience:
Citizens band (CB) radio and Cellular Phone. Type of Trucking and Equipment:
Super B
Tractor-trailer Type of Travel:
Local, Regional, Home at the end of each shift.
Work Settings: Various Locations, Start and End shift in Drayton Valley.
