Senior Cashier

Responsibilities will include Providing exceptional member service with a positive, professional approach and attitude toward customers Being dependable for all scheduled shifts Processing member transactions in a timely, efficient and accurate manner Performing cash out procedures Maintaining a neat, clean and orderly location at all times by using good housekeeping standards Performing any other duties as requested Adhering to all Evergreen Cooperative Association policies and procedures and participate in the Health and Safety program This position requires a significant amount of static standing, frequent and constant lifting, bending, and stretching We are ideally seeking candidates with the following qualifications: Strong customer service skills Organizational skills and great time management Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently within a team environment Previous retail, customer service or cash handling experience Ability to handle multiple demands at once while still providing excellent customer service Sense of urgency Ability to lift up to 50Ibs unassisted As part of Evergreen Co-operative Association’s hiring process, pre-employment background checks will be required for all candidates.
