EIT Operations Engineer Role at HWN Energy

Join HWN Energy in Alberta as an Operations Engineer In Training, focusing on production optimization and technical support in oil and gas. This role offers hands-on experience. As an Operations EIT at HWN Energy Ltd., you will provide essential support to our Production and Field Operations, gaining insights into daily production activities and technical projects across our Montney and Dunvegan assets. You will work alongside experts, addressing production challenges and helping execute small capital projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor production performance and identify optimization opportunities
• Assist in evaluating artificial lift and well intervention programs
• Support production variance reporting and data analytics
• Engage in well repair and project management activities
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• 0–3 years of engineering experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
• Registered or eligible with APEGA as an EIT
• Strong analytical skills and experience with Power BI
• Willingness to travel frequently to operational sites
