Respite Caregiver Wanted - a few days a month only
Part-time
We are looking for respite caregiver to provide occasional support for a woman with dementia who lives in her own home - a couple days per month in Nanaimo. This position is primarily focused on companionship, supervision, and helping with daily routines. There are very few medical care requirements or personal care assistance needed.. Responsibilities include: Providing companionship and gentle supervision Preparing simple meals Encouraging regular meals and hydration Simple medication administration during the day. Schedule is flexible but this should give and rough idea: July: 26-31 Aug: no dates yet Sept: 21-23 Oct/nov:no dates yet 1 week early December TBD This can be live-in for these days or just daytime.
