Job Responsibility:

Position Overview:

As the Restaurant Supervisor / Floor Manager at Camelot Golf & Country Club, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional dining experience to our members and guests by leading the front-of-house team with professionalism, attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to service excellence. This leadership role supports the overall F&B operations and ensures that all service standards reflect the prestige and personalized atmosphere expected in a private club of our caliber.

Key Responsibilities:1. Guest Experience & Service Delivery

• Lead daily floor operations during service, ensuring seamless execution from greeting to farewell.
• Anticipate and fulfill member and guest needs with discretion and attentiveness.
• Handle complaints gracefully and resolve issues in a manner that enhances member satisfaction.

2. Team Leadership & Training

• Supervise, coach, and support the service team (servers, runners, bartenders, hosts).
• Conduct daily pre-shift briefings and provide ongoing training, coaching & counseling.
• Foster a team culture that prioritizes collaboration, professionalism and member satisfaction.

3. Operational Excellence

• Ensure mise en place and dining room setup are consistently maintained to the highest standard.
• Oversee table management, section assignments, and pacing of service.
• Monitor cleanliness, ambiance, and readiness of the dining area before and during service.

4. Sales & Product Knowledge

• Guide servers in upselling techniques, food and wine pairings, and daily feature presentations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all food and beverage offerings and communicate confidently with members.

5. Administration & Reporting

• Provide end of shift reporting
• Manage and optimize labor according to business levels

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in restaurant supervision or private club management.
• Previous experience in a private club or luxury hospitality environment strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food, wine, and service standards.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage a team with poise and positivity.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal abilities.
• SmartServe certification required.
• Banqueting / Private events /weddings experience an asset

Working Conditions:

• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, member-focused environment.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $18.50-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
