BeachHead is seeking a skilled AS400 Developer for top financial clients. This role emphasizes hands‑on coding in RPGILE, SQLRPGLE, COBOL, and CL, translating business needs into technical solutions. Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) while working within a Waterfall methodology.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hands‑on programming on AS400 systems
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Collaborate during SIT and UAT for quality assurance
• Write and maintain detailed implementation plans
• Communicate updates effectively with stakeholders

Requirements

• Proven AS400/IBM i Developer experience
• Proficient in RPGILE, SQLRPGLE, COBOL, and CL
• Strong understanding of DB2/400 database systems
• Familiar with RDI and ARCAD development tools
• Excellent communication skills for team collaboration
