Description

The Housekeeping Aide will be responsible for maintaining an assigned area of the hospital in a sanitary, orderly and attractive condition. They will select appropriate materials and supplies from utility supply rooms, load service cart and transport to designated area.

The Cook will be responsible for completing quantity food preparation for patients, visitors, and staff in accordance with regular and special diets while maintaining strict standard of sanitation as per Sanitation Code. Inspects and tastes food for quality

The Dietary Aide performs a variety of tasks related to the preparation, service, and distribution of regular and special diets and the handling of food in accordance with sanitary regulations for patients, visitors, and staff. Involved with patient, cafeteria, catering, and ware washing duties.

The Laundry Extractor/Aide is responsible for processing soiled and clean linens and laundry from the hospital. They will also be responsible to do laundry counts for the floors and assist in the delivery of items.  The Laundry Extractor/Aide will be required to drive and deliver the items from the plant to the hospital several times each day.

The Janitor is responsible for cleaning and servicing hospital areas and outer buildings by following procedures, using necessary cleaning supplies/equipment to complete tasks, and maintaining areas and equipment. The successful candidate will exhibit excellent organizational skills in order to efficiently complete tasks and maintain standards of cleanliness in the hospital.
