A valid Saskatchewan Class 5 driver's licence (or equivalent) and a valid First Aid and CPR/AED certificate are required. Relevant qualifications may include a degree in Social Sciences, a diploma in Law Enforcement, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. A medical evaluation is required as part of the employment process.

Responsibilities include maintaining facility safety and security, supervising offenders, providing case management and interventions within a therapeutic model, conducting patrols and security checks, applying legislation and policy, and responding to incidents using safe and effective intervention strategies.
