JOURNEYMAN MECHANIC
LOCATION: REGINA, SK
JAY'S TRANSPORTATION GROUP LTD. is a subsidiary of The Mullen Group and is one of the largest household moving, storage and freight transportation companies in Saskatchewan. We provide direct freight service to over 550 locations in the province.
Experience working with commercial equipment such as trucks and trailers.
Provide vehicle troubleshooting and diagnostic repairs
Test repaired equipment for proper performance
Accurate completion of work orders and time cards
Schedule and prioritize work needed on equipment
Assist in ordering replacement equipment, parts and supplies
Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to occupational health and safety regulations
Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
Shift is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00pm Qualifications:
REQUIRED- Journeyman Certification
With required SGI certification
Valid Class 5 Drivers License required; Class 1A License is considered an asset.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and perform well under pressure.
Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Proficient computer skills
