Marketing Communications Specialist (Fixed Term)

As a Communication Specialist you will build effective communication and advertising plans, both internal and external, for the company's business lines (clients). Your goal will be to lead and manage the development of creative and content messaging for various media platforms, both traditional and social, to ensure maximum brand impact and awareness. Your success will be measured on your ability to lead projects, provide creative and strategic messaging, and adhere to timelines.

Kindly note, this is a fixed term position.

Your Responsibilities :

• Meet with clients and key stakeholders to discuss and identify their communications requirements. Identify, validate and communicate the details of campaigns, audience segmentation and client objectives
• Act as the point of contact between the client and the Creative Services team by maintaining regular contact with both
• Work with the Creative Services and Marketing teams to develop ideas, plans, and strategies for new projects
• Cultivate and propose communication tactics and opportunities to clients by working with the Media Planner to develop and activate traditional and digital media plans and consult with the Consumer Insights Manager to refine concept and messaging to align with identified audience segmentation
• Set and manage timelines and work back schedules for all creative deliverables to meet key milestones within a campaign and maintain a flexible approach in client relationships and campaigns to ensure needs are met as they arise
• Write and create effective communication plans for the company's business lines. Excel in creative writing for content including, but not limited to, POS messaging, social and web content. This includes, advertising and marketing and sales copy for traditional (print, radio, e-mails, direct mail etc.) and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, landing pages etc.) as well as internal publications (sell sheets, power point presentations, forms etc.)
• Present and prepare campaign concepts, strategies and tangible assets via pitch meetings
• Assist Marketing Managers with executive summaries and post mortem meetings

Your Skills:

• Excel at creative writing and enjoy presenting to small and large groups
• Strong knowledge of communication trends and strategy and an understanding of social and digital trends
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment and be able to manage priorities and expectations through strong time management and organizational skills
• Strategic thinker to meet client's objectives and drive business results
• Excel in a team-oriented environment; ability to work independently when required

Your Experience:

• Degree in Business, Communications or English
• Minimum of 5 years in account services with an advertising/marketing agency
