We're looking to welcome a curious and motivated Food & Beverage Services Manager to join our energetic and professional team, in the relaxed-yet-lively food and beverage spaces. Reporting to the golf course General Manager and joining our passionate Mayfair Lakes Golf & Country Club leadership team, this year-round role is well supported and collaborates with our Executive Chef and Event Managers - the depth of knowledge and years of experience within our existing service and culinary team is truly exceptional. Responsibilities Recruit, train, inspire and lead the front of house, event, and on-course food and beverage teams Work alongside and hands-on as needed to deliver restaurant and event service Work cross-functionally with the Executive Chef and Event Managers to ensure that the Guest experience consistently exceeds expectations Schedule, coordinate and train all F&B Team Members to ensure that service is economical and according to the Department Service Standards Enhance the Guest experience and maximize revenue with attention to ambience, suggestive selling and Team Member training; maintain a positive and professional approach Prepare all necessary data for the budget and take corrective action where necessary to help meet financial goals Develop beverage pricing strategies with a wise product mix and presentation ideas to fit the market Embody and drive our Core Values: Be Real, Own It, Bring Your Best, Succeed Together Candidate Profile Five years of experience in a supervisory/management restaurant role Exceptional leadership, communication and strategic skills Solid à la carte best practices understanding; event experience is an asset High degree of administrative and executive ability, especially in terms of problem-solving and decision making Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while keeping humble, calm, and positive Strong emotional intelligence skills and able to embody the GolfBC leadership standards Organized, detail-oriented, creates a refined experience Embraces our core values Be Real: Communicate with honesty, openness, and respect.
