The Opportunity

RVS invites applications for a continuing part-time (28hrs/wk) School Receptionist position at Ralph McCall School starting August 27, 2026.

Ralph McCall School is located in the City of Airdrie, and serves students from grades K-5. For more information on the school, please visit the RVS website .

Responsibilities Include

• Provides excellent service to school staff, students and the public, including answering and directing phone calls in a courteous and professional manner
• Greets substitute teachers and substitute support staff and provides necessary resources
• Prepares, distributes, collects, and categorizes various school forms
• Accepts, distributes and expedites mail, couriered, and delivered items
• Completes a variety of clerical duties in a fast-paced work environment by assigned deadlines
• Supervises students in the infirmary
• Supports student attendance as required
• Supports the professionalism and confidentiality of the school office

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Administrative Professional Diploma or Certificate is considered an asset
• Previous experience within a school division and/or with Student Information Records Systems is considered an asset

Knowledge and Skills

• Outstanding communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Proven ability to establish collaborative working relationships with internal and external clients
• Demonstrated ability to deal with a variety of complex and sensitive issues professionally and in a timely manner
• Excellent multi-tasking, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to successfully work in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications
