A semi formal style residence located at Royal York and Dundas, is seeking an experienced full-time Housekeeper. Applicants must have previous experience working in a semi-formal home with hands on style of participation & organization for daily duties. Applicants should be comfortable with children. Position Overview: Excellent housekeeping & laundress skills, good cooking skills and time management skills, required to maintain the high standards & efficiency of this residence. This is a full-time position of approximately 44 hours per week. Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for daily routine of housekeeping and laundry for care of interiors & finishes to maintain standards & organization. Menu planning for grocery shopping and pantry stocks. Organize closets and cupboards. Supervision and organization of trades. Greeting of visitors and telephone messages. Applicant Qualities: Must have previous experience working in a formal style of residence. Excellent housekeeping & laundress skills. Must be patient and trustworthy. Must be a self-starter with strong time management and organizational abilities and follow through on projects. Applicants must be service oriented, pleasant with good communication skills. Applicants should have a neat and polished appearance. Must exercise complete discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
