Reliability Program Engineer

We are currently looking for a Reliability Program Engineer to join our Reliability and Work Execution team in a permanent position. Reporting to the Senior Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for the efficient selection and management of reliability projects and processes within the reliability team while ensuring that project management methodology is followed.

Key elements of this role include::

• Leading targeted reliability efforts and system upgrades, ensuring projects align with organizational goals.

• Collaborating with field teams to identify underlying issues, develop corrective strategies, and execute solutions to prevent recurrence.

• Working closely with other technical and operating groups to ensure projects are successfully defined, planned, and implemented.

• Developing procedures to track completion of feeder inspection deficiencies in the field.

• Identifying and addressing process and technology improvements in the feeder inspection program.

• Developing processes to maintain efficient deployment of our capital program.

• Reporting on progress of the feeder inspection program KPIs through program dashboard construction.

You will be responsible for your personal safety and that of your co-workers by observing all Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations.

These skills will make you successful:: To thrive in this role, you recognize yourself in most of the following competencies and skills:

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Full membership (or eligible for membership) in Engineers Nova Scotia as a P.Eng. Member registered as an EIT will also be considered.
• You have strong analytical and computer skills, with an aptitude for detailed process analysis.
• You are proficient with tools and systems used in project planning, tracking, and reporting.
• You have experience in project management and are comfortable supporting multiple projects through various stages of planning and delivery.
• You have excellent communication skills that allow you to interact effectively with technical teams, project stakeholders, and operational staff.
• You have experience in Tableau, MS Project, and Excel.
• You have a valid driver's license and are available to provide assistance/direction for after-hours emergency service restoration when required.
