Senior Structural CAD Designer at Egis

Egis Group

Be part of innovative infrastructure projects as a Senior Structural CAD Designer at Egis in Ottawa, ON. This hybrid role requires over 15 years of CAD drafting experience, specifically with bridges. In this role, you’ll support bridge and structural infrastructure projects by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive drafting and modeling outputs. Your responsibilities include developing general arrangement drawings and ensuring compliance with drafting standards during all project phases, shaping the future of transport structures. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare 2D and 3D designs for bridge structures
Develop detailed reinforcement and construction documentation
Translate engineering concepts into precise drafts
Maintain adherence to QA/QC and documentation guidelines
Engage in BIM coordination and model integration efforts

Requirements:

Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or related fields
Minimum of 15 years' experience in CAD drafting
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or MicroStation
Deep understanding of structural and transportation projects
Communication skills for effective teamwork
