Our client in Brampton is looking for a Machine Operator to run their SS Groove operations on the day shift (6:00am – 2:30pm) at a rate of $21/hr. The role focuses on setting up and operating the SG38 machine to roll groove stainless steel fittings, while also handling production paperwork and quality measurements. Ideal candidates will have experience with metalworking machinery, knowledge of general machining practices, the ability to use tools such as pi tapes and verniers to read drawings and specifications, and strong teamwork skills

Responsibilities
- Select proper components/raw materials.
- Complete production paperwork and ISO reads as required.
- Perform quality measurements and data recording.
- Roll groove stainless steel fittings (2” to 8”) to desired specifications.
- Package and label finished products according to work instructions/method sheets.
- Set up grooving machine for production runs.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.

Qualifications
- Operate metalworking machinery.

- Knowledge of general machining practices.
- Proficiency with general assembly and machinery hand tools, including hard grinders.
- Ability to use and read pi tapes and verniers for groove qualification.
- Ability to read company drawings and groove specifications.
- Willingness to learn different jobs and be cross-trained.
- Strong teamwork skills.
