Applications are invited for a Part-Time Customer Service Clerk (on call as required). Under the direction of the Customer Service Supervisor, this position is responsible and accountable for providing excellent customer service in a professional and courteous manner. The position is also responsible for a variety of administrative duties associated with the service delivery of the Customer Service Centre.
Qualifications
- Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent acceptable experience
- Two (2) years recent experience in a substantially similar work environment
- Two (2) years recent experience in cash handling
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated organizational and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of, and ability to interpret City by-laws
- Proficient in computer applications, i.e. Microsoft Office 365, CLASS, Sunguard
- Good working knowledge of office methods and procedures
