Inside Sales Specialist (ISS)

Probewell designs and manufactures specialized test equipment for electric utilities throughout North America and international markets. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a proactive, customer-focused Inside Sales Specialist (ISS) to help drive sales opportunities, support customers, and contribute to business development activities.
This position combines customer relationship management, sales support, quotations, order coordination, and business development. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, following up with customers, identifying opportunities, and collaborating closely with technical and operational teams.

Main Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Respond to customer inquiries and identify sales opportunities.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and pricing recommendations.
- Proactively follow up on quotes and open opportunities to maximize conversion rates.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and sales representatives.
- Conduct outbound customer follow-up activities to generate repeat business and uncover new opportunities.
- Support the development of new markets, customers, and strategic accounts.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, customer information, and opportunity tracking within CRM systems.
Customer & Order Management
- Process purchase orders and coordinate order fulfillment with production, shipping, and accounting teams.
- Keep customers informed regarding order status, lead times, deliveries, and any schedule changes.
- Ensure a positive customer experience from quotation through delivery and after-sales support.
- Maintain accurate customer and order records in ERP and CRM systems.
Sales Operations
- Support external sales representatives with quotations, documentation, product information, and customer follow-up.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of CRM and ERP processes, reporting, and data quality.
- Prepare sales reports, pipeline updates, and activity tracking metrics.
- Participate in customer presentations, virtual meetings, and product demonstrations as required.
Trade Shows & Marketing Support
- Coordinate trade show and event preparation, including demonstration equipment, literature, and promotional materials.
- Manage event logistics, including international shipments, customs documentation, temporary exports, and return shipments.
- Track and maintain demonstration equipment inventory and condition.
- Occasionally attend trade shows, industry events, and customer visits across North America.
