Labourer

Premier Tech is seeking to expand its team by adding a Plant Labourer at its Richer, Manitoba facility. This role will report directly to the maintenance supervisor. This position offers variety, training, and physical activity. You will also have the opportunity to operate equipment while growing your career with a company that is almost 100 years old.

Your future role in a few words

• Keep all door exits clear of snow and ice and apply ice melt when required
• Maintain scales and surrounding areas free of snow and debris
• Perform snow removal and seasonal yard maintenance
• Cut grass and complete weed trimming as required
• Assist mechanics with shop tasks and general support duties
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and yard areas
• Support inventory organization and parts management
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and policies
• Complete additional duties as assigned by management

• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines

• Commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices
• Ability to follow company procedures and protocols
• Forklift certification considered an asset
• CTPAT training considered an asset
