Volunteer Mobile App Developer

Job Responsibility:
EmpowHERto is in search of a dedicated and skilled Mobile App Developer to volunteer their expertise in constructing a framework for our mental health app. As a volunteer developer, you will be instrumental in the initial development stages, collaborating closely with our team to craft a user-friendly and impactful platform aimed at supporting the mental health of young women.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the EmpowHERto team to comprehend project requirements and objectives thoroughly.
- Design, develop, and implement a mobile app framework tailored for our mental health app.
- Provide regular updates and progress reports to the EmpowHERto team.
- Assist in documenting the app development process for future reference and improvement.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience as a Mobile App Developer, with expertise in iOS and/or Android development.
- Proficient knowledge of programming languages such as Swift, Kotlin, or Java.
- Familiarity with mobile app frameworks and development tools (e.g., React Native, Flutter).
- Understanding of UI/UX design principles and adherence to best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Passion for mental health advocacy and empowering young women.
This is a volunteer position offering flexible hours, making it ideal for developers seeking to make a positive impact in the community.
