Rate: CAD45/hr - CAD55/hr

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, build, and enhance scalable enterprise applications across frontend and backend systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality, cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend (Angular) and backend (Java/Node.js) applications
• Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs and integrate with UI systems
• Contribute to system architecture and design discussions
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and developers in Agile teams
• Build and deploy applications on AWS/Azure/OpenShift using Docker & Kubernetes
• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
• Ensure code quality through unit/integration testing and code reviews
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues using tools like Splunk/Dynatrace
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot) to improve productivity
• Continuously improve engineering practices and adopt new technologies

Required Skills

• Extensive experience in Full Stack Development
• Strong expertise in: Java (Spring Boot, Microservices), Angular or Node.js
• Solid understanding of REST API design and development
• Hands-on experience with: Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/OpenShift), Docker & Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools

Nice to Have

• Experience in the Banking or Financial Services domain
