Overview
SDT North America Inc. is looking to hire a Logistics and Support Technician for its warehouse in Cobourg, Ontario.
SDT provides ultrasound solutions that help our customers gain a better understanding about the health of their factory. We help them predict failures, control energy costs, and improve product quality while contributing to the overall reliability of their assets. The Logistics and Support Technician is responsible for maintaining the warehouse, inventory management, device calibration and repairs, and providing excellent customer support.
Job Duties
Warehouse Support :
- Inventory management
- Maintain direct communication with order fulfillment
- Shipping and receiving orders
- Logistic coordination
- Customer service
- CERS documentation
- Dangerous goods documentation
- Maintaining shipping rates
- Invoicing customers
- Purchasing firmware/software licensing
- Purchasing/billing calibrations
- Building assemblies
- Final accuracy checks
- Dispose of leftover packing materials
Hardware Support:
- Issue return merchandise authorizations (RMA)
- Inbound and outbound instrumentation
- Generate service opportunities and quotations
- Calibrate and service instruments
- Handle product returns
- Handle warranty

Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a warehouse environment
- Experience with shipping and receiving
- Experience with inventory management
- Experience with QuickBooks is an asset but not required
- Valid driver's license
- Current background check
