Help Raise Three Amazing Girls: Adventure Nanny & Family Assistant

Our family is looking for an exceptional person to become an important part of our lives. This is much more than a nanny position. It's an opportunity to help raise three kind, curious, energetic girls (ages 5, 9, and 11) who love learning, exploring, reading, creating, and spending time outdoors. We are seeking someone who will become a trusted mentor, role model, and teammate in helping them grow into confident, capable young women. Our home is built on curiosity, respect, kindness, independence, and a love of learning. The girls are homeschooled, so each day blends education with outdoor adventures, creative projects, reading, sports, music, and everyday life. We are looking for someone who enjoys asking thoughtful questions, encouraging problem-solving, and helping children discover answers for themselves rather than simply giving them the solution. No two days are exactly alike. One day may involve science experiments, baking, or building projects. Another could include hiking local trails, biking, swimming, skiing, visiting the library, or exploring parks throughout the Okanagan. We hope to find someone who enjoys creating memorable experiences while providing the consistency and structure children need to thrive. What you'll do:

• Care for and supervise three girls in a safe, positive, and engaging environment.
• Support daily homeschooling by encouraging curiosity, discussion, and independent thinking.
• Plan fun, educational, and outdoor activities.
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children.
• Drive the girls to activities, lessons, and community events.
• Help maintain tidy, organized spaces used by the children.
• Provide overnight care when I am working overnight call as a physician.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience caring for children is required.
• Experience in education, homeschooling, tutoring, teaching, educational assistance, or early childhood education is highly valued.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Valid driver's licence and a clean driving record.
• Criminal record check.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Position Details:

• Full-time position.
• Located in the North Okanagan.
• Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
• Overnight care required when I am scheduled for overnight hospital call.
• Long-term applicants are preferred.
