Educational Leader for Quality Care

Become an Educational Leader at Westside Long Term Care in Etobicoke, Ontario. This full-time Quality and Education Coordinator role focuses on advancing staff education and improving resident care quality. As a key player in staff development, you will coordinate training programs that enhance compliance and staff competence. Your experience as a Registered Practical Nurse will guide you in mentoring frontline staff and ensuring they are well-equipped to deliver person-centred care in alignment with best practices. Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate staff onboarding and orientation programs
Deliver essential education sessions on safety and compliance
Conduct competency assessments and provide coaching
Maintain documentation compliance and training records
Collaborate closely with leadership to improve training initiatives

Requirements:

Valid Registered Practical Nurse certification
2–3 years in a long-term care or healthcare setting
Gentle Persuasive Approaches certification preferred
Strong facilitation and communication skills
Ability to work with diverse learning styles
