Reimbursement Specialist

Cencora seeks a Reimbursement Specialist to support patient and provider services for rare disease programs in Canada. The role involves coordinating reimbursement cases with payers, physicians, and insurance companies to maximize prescription drug coverage for patients.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily with Program Managers on new and existing rare disease projects
• Coordinate reimbursement cases with physicians, healthcare professionals, and insurance companies
• Prepare and submit documentation to public and private payers meeting specific criteria
• Navigate coverage and reimbursement processes; implement Financial Means Tests for patients
• Report adverse events to assigned departments

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year pharmaceutical, insurance, or healthcare industry experience
• Minimum 3 years customer service experience
• Deep knowledge of public, private, and federal reimbursement mechanisms
• Bilingual French and English fluency required
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and meet competing deadlines
