The Role

Imagine Cannabis is looking for Budtenders who love connecting with people, learning about cannabis, and helping customers discover something that’s right for them.

You’ll be one of the friendly faces of our store — welcoming customers, answering questions, sharing what you know, and making cannabis feel approachable. You’ll also help keep things running smoothly, from processing orders and restocking products to keeping the store looking its best.

You don’t need to know everything about cannabis on day one. Bring your curiosity, personality, and willingness to learn — we’ll help with the rest.

What You’ll Do

• Create a welcoming and comfortable experience for every customer.
• Ask questions and help customers explore products that fit what they’re looking for.
• Build your cannabis knowledge and share accurate, responsible product information.
• Process transactions and handle cash accurately.
• Check ID and follow all cannabis regulations and store procedures.
• Restock products and keep the store clean, organized, and customer-ready.
• Support inventory counts, receiving, and loss prevention.
• Jump in wherever needed and help keep the store running smoothly.
• Be a great teammate and contribute to a positive, supportive environment.

What You’ll Bring

• You’re 19+ and able to obtain the required provincial cannabis certification.
• 2+ years of retail, hospitality, sales, or customer service experience is preferred.
• You’re friendly, approachable, and enjoy connecting with different people.
• You’re curious about cannabis and excited to keep learning.
• You’re dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a busy environment.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal record check.

• A positive, inclusive team environment.
• Ongoing training and product education.
• Opportunities to learn, grow, and take on more.
• Employee incentives and social events.
• A fast-paced workplace where great service and teamwork go hand in hand.
