Labourer

The Labourer supports tradespeople and day-to-day shop, yard, and field operations through a variety of general labour duties, including material handling, cleanup, and assisting with fabrication, insulation, and coating activities. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity with room to advance into a trade or equipment role.

Key Responsibilities
-Load, unload, move, and stage materials, tools, and equipment
-Assist welders, fitters, insulators, and painters with day-to-day tasks
-Maintain housekeeping in the shop, yard, and on job sites
-Operate hand and power tools under direction
-Assist with grinding, surface preparation, masking, and material cutting as assigned
-Participate in toolbox talks, hazard assessments, and all company safety programs
-Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills
-Physically fit and able to lift up to 50lbs and remain on your feet for full shifts
-Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
-Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and at heights when required
-Safety tickets (e.g., WHMIS, CSTS, Fall Protection, First Aid) an asset; training provided
-Forklift or skid steer experience an asset
-Valid drivers license and reliable transportation an asset
