About this opportunity

In this role, you will work as a full member of a DevOps Agile team, gaining hands‑on experience with a wide range of technologies, including Java, TypeScript, Linux, Git, Jenkins, Docker and test automation frameworks.

What you will do:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and software.
• Code, test, debug and collaborate with teams to ensure efficient and scalable software solutions.
• Work on developing/debugging software tools that support developer needs, such as web‑based tools, log analysis tools, debug tools, software management tools, etc.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in software development, cloud technologies and data‑engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with Technical Managers and Senior Data Architects to translate architectural designs into functional scope and code.
• Research and evaluate new technologies to improve our product portfolio.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Architects to define requirements for new features.
• Design and implement new features.
• Work in a team‑based Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (2nd or 3rd year), or enrolled in a Master’s degree.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• The ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• A quality‑driven approach, balancing speed with thoroughness.
• Initiative and responsiveness to the needs of customers and stakeholders.
• A willingness to challenge ideas and practices constructively, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Solid understanding of Java.
• Familiarity with Linux, including shell scripting.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL).
• Exposure to front‑end development (TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
• Proficiency with version control tools (Git).
• Awareness of application monitoring and troubleshooting concepts.
• Basic knowledge of Python.
